Cecilia, Veronika’s daughter, is brutally attacked one evening on her way home through her peaceful neighborhood. While Veronika waits anxiously at her side, a man is found strangled in a janitor’s closet in the huge hospital in Lund, nicknamed The Block. Together with the Lund police force, Claes Claesson rummages in the man’s past, when the idyllic town is hit by yet another violent attack. One of Cecilia’s former roommates is found raped and murdered in her apartment. Is there a connection between these apparently different crimes? And what is really going on in the circle of young doctors in which both Cecilia and her former roommates moved?
